LATE MRS. STANLEY, DERRYHALE.
Amidst many manifestations of regret the remains of Mrs. Maria Stanley were removed from her late residence, Derryhale, Portadown, for interment in the family burying-ground, The Dobbin, on Saturday. Deceased was a woman of sterling and exemplary character and much beloved by the whole community, from whose midst she will be most sadly missed.
The funeral was one of the largest seen in the district for considerable time, and was attended by a cortege representative of the very high esteem in which she was hold.
Along with other relatives, Messrs. Thomas, James. Charles. Albert and Herbert Stanley, sons of the deceased were the chief mourners.
There were numerous beautiful wreaths and sheafs of flowers.
Mr. John Montgomery had charge of the funeral.
