This website replaces two earlier websites and is continually being added to.

Information is recorded in two formats – posts and pages.

Posts contain snippets of information about a family member e.g. transcripts of birth, marriage and death certificates, newspaper clippings etc.

Pages contain more detailed information about a surname or a family, the most complete family page currently is that for the family of William and Jeannie Burns.

The horizontal menu gives access to posts about the family shown. On this day gives access to posts linked to upcoming dates marking the anniversary of the events listed. New Additions gives access to recently added or recently edited pages and posts for those visitors who check into the website from time to time.

The vertical menu on the RHS of the website has a search facility for pages and posts, while the Select a Surname box gives access to a dropdown Name Index which in turn gives access to the surname and family pages. You can navigate through the families using the to view the parents and siblings of an individual or the to view spouse and children. A indicates the individual did not have children and/or marry.

The tag cloud below the name index gives access to those surnames that are less common among the posts.

Dates of Note gives access to the posts on the anniversary of the event noted.

While I have tried to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, this is not always possible. In a few cases information has come from less reliable sources and may not be correct.
